This product is similar to HTPC but they are different. This product is belong to computer signal transfer and extend products, which is called “EXTENDER” in computer field. They extend the signal of VGA video, USB, Audio in the server or computer upto several hundreds meters far away. Therefore, somebody called it UVA extender. But it is not exactly same as UVA extender cuz they don’t extend signal simply but also transfer the signal. We’d likely to call them Home Entertainment products as considering to their functions in the home entertainment and enjoyment. There are two parts, which one is the local transmitter and the other is remote receiver. They are connected by a CAT5/5e/6/7 cable long to 50M.
Many a time I think if we can watch internet movie, play internet games, or enjoy somethings in the internet by our big-screen TV or not when I sit in my very comfortable armchair setted in my living room. If I hide the computer case or server somewhere in my living room and connect the computer and the TV with various cables, it is OK. But the TV’s resolution affects the definition of our computer. Meanwhile, it is heard to be very dagerous if there are so many varous hidden cables, and hidden computers in our living room.

We place the computer in the book room with a set of peripherals; then hook up the computer to the local transmitter. Then connect the transmitter with the remote receiver in the living room by a CATx cable. At last, connect the receiver with the TV in the living room and connet the power adaptor. At this moment, we can do everything in the internet by our big-screen TV in our very comfortable sofa or armchair in the living room!
