<div style="LINE-HEIGHT: 18pt" align="left"><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">举个简单例子：一个手持的</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">mp3</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">是否可以叫做是嵌入式系统呢？答案肯定是</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">&ldquo;</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">是</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">&rdquo;</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">。另外一个</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">PC104</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">的微型工业控制计算机你会认为它是嵌入式系统吗？当然，也是，工业控制是嵌入式系统技术的一个典型应用领域。然而比较两者，你也许会发现二者几乎完全不同，除了其中都嵌入有微处理器。那是否可以说嵌入着微处理器的设备就是嵌入式系统？那鼠标中也有单片机，能叫嵌入式系统嘛？</span></div>

<div style="LINE-HEIGHT: 18pt" align="left"><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">作为一个系统，往往是在硬件和软件交替发展的双螺旋的支撑下逐渐趋于稳定和成熟，</span><strong><em><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt"><a href="http://www.embedm.com/Product/"><span>嵌入式系统</span></a></span></em></strong><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">也不例外。</span></div>
<div style="LINE-HEIGHT: 18pt" align="left"><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">嵌入式系统的出现最初是基于单片机的。</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">70</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">年代单片机的出现，使得汽车、家电、工业机器、通信装置以及成千上万种产品可以通过内嵌电子装置来获得更佳的使用性能：更容易使用、更快、更便宜。这些装置已经初步具备了嵌入式的应用特点，但是这时的应用只是使用８位的芯片，执行一些单线程的程序，还谈不上</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">&ldquo;</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">系统</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">&rdquo;</span><span style="COLOR: black; LETTER-SPACING: 0.4pt">的概念。</span></div>

<div><strong><span style="COLOR: black">一</span></strong><strong><span style="COLOR: black">.ARM7 VS ARM9</span></strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><br />UP-NETARM3000</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">和</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">UP-NETARM300</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">采用基于</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7TDMI</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">核的三星</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">S3C44B0</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">芯片，该芯片是目前国内使用最广的经典</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">芯片，非常适合教学；和</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">相比，应该说</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM9</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">在性能方面有很大提高，但</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM9</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">更适合作为产品开发平台，并不适合作为教学平台。</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><br /><strong><a href="http://www.szarm.com/">ARM7</a></strong></span><strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">比</span></strong><strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM9</span></strong><strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">更适合教学。体现如下：</span></strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><br />1. </span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">从硬件设计方面，</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">主频在</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">30-100MHz</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">左右，学生完全可以掌握其设计技术，而</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM9</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">在</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">100-200MHz</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">左右，属高速设计，至少有</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">3</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">年以上经验的硬件工程师才可能进行设计，一般学生很难掌握。</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><br /><br />2. </span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">从软件设计方面，在教学中采用源码开发的操作系统已成为共识，</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">资源紧凑，适合运行</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ucos</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">和</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ucLinux</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">等源码开放的操作系统，在教学中能够充分体现嵌入式系统对资源、成本、可靠性有严格需要的特点；而</span><strong><em><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><a href="http://www.armlab.net/products_index.html">ARM9</a></span></em></strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">是系统集成度更高的</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">SOC</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">，适合跑</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">WinCE</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">、</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">Linux</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">等高级操作系统，用于教学是</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">&ldquo;</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">大马拉小车</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">&rdquo;</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">，这样造成学生在设计时往往不会关注资源、成本、可靠性的限制，就如同用一台</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">PC</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">进行教学一样，无法体现嵌入式教学的特点。</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><br /><br />3. </span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">从应用方面，而</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">芯片价格比</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM9</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">低得多，而且</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">芯片是目前嵌入式产品市场的主流，占</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">90%</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">以上，很多手机、小灵通等产品都是基于</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">的，就如同目前单片机开发与教学绝大多数采用</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">51</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">体系一样，</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">ARM7</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">就是</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">32</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">位微处理器领域的</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">51</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">，至少有</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">10</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">年左右的生命力，这也如同单片机教学很少讲</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">16</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">位的</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">80186</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">一样。</span></div>

style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">Linux</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">很热门，而且是未来几年的发展方向。但在教学中，我们必须正视这样一些现实：桌面操作系统主流仍为</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">Windows</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">系统，绝大多数老师和学生没有或很少使用</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">Linux</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">，而且本科生阶段也很少开设</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">Linux</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">相关课程。而开展</span><strong><em><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b"><a href="http://www.embedm.com/">ARM+Linux</a></span></em></strong><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">教学至少要有</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">因此，嵌入式教学必须从学生实际情况出发，制定相应的教学计划和选择实验设备，不能只追求</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">&ldquo;</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">高级</span><span style="COLOR: #3b3b3b">&rdquo;</span><span
