知道宫崎骏还是看他的获奖作品《千与千寻》开始的。我从小喜欢动画，但随着年龄的渐大，对很多动画失去了兴趣。看《千与千寻》也是无意间的事，但他那奇幻的情节和亮丽鲜明的色彩以及逼真的画面把我一下子吸引过去了，从此，知道了宫崎骏，也开始购买和收藏他的动画。
好多日本动画都是变异夸张的造型，这些也能吸引孩子们的兴趣，但成年人往往对此不以为然。宫崎骏的造型却是追求一种逼真的效果，对景物、建筑的描画细致入微，尤其对树林、山石、天空等的刻画几近乱真，这点从《千与千寻》和《幽灵公主》的动画中就能看出来。
当然，宫崎骏的成功之处不仅在于写实，而在于造梦。在以现实为背景下，给你创造出了一个奇幻曲折的梦境世界。在宫崎骏的动画中总能发现他自己的飞行梦，但表现的还不是人们常见的飞行器，总具有自己梦想般的特色。
在宫崎骏的动画中也总能找到或多或少的自己，在里面他给自己营造了一个独处的地方。象龙猫、象红猪、象小魔女、象妙子、象月岛霞等等，在这些人物或造型上 不难发现宫崎骏也在营造一种人和自然、人和人之间和平相处相息的梦境。很多动画和科幻故事片中好象一个人总能挽救全世界全地球，看后叫人觉得无聊可笑。幸 好在宫崎骏的动画中没有这样的无聊的事情，在表达类似意愿的场景中，总是局限在某一局部战争或和人与大自然之间的矛盾之上。
宫崎骏在乡下生活了很长时间，并在那创作了《风之谷》，待回到城市时，已经是家喻户晓的名人了。所以，他对乡下的生活、劳动十分熟悉和热爱，这在他的动画 中也能体会出来。比如在《龙猫》中小月、小米姐俩在穿过玉米田的时候，因叶子上有小刺，所以侧身而过；还有在《回忆点点滴滴》中红花的采集、加工制作等， 这些没有亲身经历过是没法表现出来的。
在宫崎骏的动画中大多是以女孩子为主要人物而展开故事内容的，这些女孩儿特点各自不同，但同有善良纯真的共性。象《风之谷》 里那伍斯嘉的开朗、沉猛勇敢， 在面对敌人的时候无惧无畏；《天空之城》里舒达的大度、高雅华贵的王者之气，当危险降临，她首先想到伤害过她的军队和强盗而竭力保护他们，自己刚脱离险境 却马上想到那些强盗的安危；《猫的报恩》里小春的懒散、粗心并爱幻想，却又充满爱心；
《魔女宅急便》里琪琪单纯、执拗而又善良，带有魔法血统的小魔女；还有《千与千寻》当中的那个胆小、弱不禁风的千寻等等，都表现的惟妙惟肖，无一雷同。
人们提 起动画就觉得那是小孩看的玩意，这样的理解是片面和浅薄的。有好多动画是寓意深刻的，也最能发挥充分的想象能力，其实动画最大的特点也就是把想象的东西能 完美的表达出来，就象他自己说的：动画有一种想象的洞穿力。在宫崎骏的动画里反映的主题大多是厚重的，但他会以清新隽永的笔触和清雅鲜艳的色彩以及玄密曲 折的情节来表达出来。而大多以儿童为主要人物，就是叫儿童易于接受和对他们身心有一种潜移默化的影响，这些要比讲一些大道理更能叫孩子们接受和认识。比如 《千与千寻》和《魔女宅急便》，就是讲述一个人在成长和成熟过程中所必须经历的磨难；《幽灵公主》和《风之谷》就是在象那些破坏自然的人们的声讨和反思； 而《红猪》、《天空之城》和《哈尔移动城堡》就是从侧面在讲那些残忍、贪婪自私的一些人因为满足自己的欲望，而发动的战争给人们带来的破坏和灾难。
说到宫崎骏的动画，不能不提起久石让。这位老先生在动画里的作曲可谓是点睛之作，久石让创作音乐多年，却一直没什么名气，但在动画里的音乐歌曲几乎是首首精彩，也使这位老先生名声雀起，象《龙猫》和《天空之城》的主题歌在我国也早有流传。
人们说宫崎骏是动画创作的颠峰，有人把他与写武侠故事的大师金庸的地位想媲美（金庸也是造梦大师）。宫崎骏确实在国际上获得了不少奖项，比如《千与千寻》 和《哈尔的移动城堡》，都在国际影坛得到过金奖。近年来，由于年龄和健康原因，宫崎骏的创作已经渐少，但不是象有些人所说的已经封笔。我希望宫崎骏的动画 之路尚青，继续创作和讲述他那奇幻瑰丽的梦境。
