<![CDATA[离7月1日比尔&middot;盖茨正式退休的日期越来越近了，在周二，微软主席比尔&middot;盖茨最后一次以微软全职员工的身份向软件开发人员们发表演讲，这次演讲被认为其告别微软的最后演讲，一代IT枭雄从此将<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>隐居<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>起来，享受晚年的幸福生活。 <br /><br />让我们回首33年前，1975年，无疑是IT界非常具有纪念意义的一年，那年比尔&middot;盖茨和艾伦一起创立了微软公司，并逐步以Windows操作系统、Office办公软件和IE浏览器等&ldquo;武器&rdquo;纵横于全球软件产业，打下了&ldquo;不败枭雄&rdquo;江山。30多年来，比尔&middot;盖茨一直是微软的象征，而且是微软发展战略的规划师,在这种IT史记上难以打破的&ldquo;神话故事&rdquo;背景下，比尔&middot;盖茨退休前将给大家有什么样的预言和提示，将显得非常瞩目。 <br /><br />在这次演讲中，比尔&middot;盖茨着重提到了应用开发和服务的未来发展方向，特别是提到为了与Google和亚马逊展开竞争，微软计划推出业界最大的数据中心来发展托管服务。比尔&middot;盖茨说：<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>在服务器层面的工作所涉及到的所有领域，我们会都提供相应的服务。这就要求我们建立一个规模巨大的数据中心，这是以前从未想过的。这样的数据中心只有微软和另外少数几家公司有能力建设。<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font> 毫无疑问，随着网络和共享服务的发展，单纯的软件销售将使市场变得更较渺小，在基于Windows这么一个庞大的用户群体，微软如果再不把数据服务作为核心产品去执行，那将来的局面将更加对微软不利，这个已经成为微软今后发展的战略要点之一。 <br /><br />同样的，自从微软<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>踢出<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>网景浏览器后，它的IE浏览器已经霸占市场很多年了，但各种挑战也越来越多，如开源浏览器<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>火狐<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>的崛起，迫使微软进一步加大研发力度，确保IE产品能够不断地创新，比如下一代的IE产品IE 8将于今年8月份面世。在手机市场，根据去年四季度的一个统计报告，在美国智能手机市场，Windows移动平台智能手机21%的份额仍然低于苹果iPhone手机的28%市场份额。互联网的迅速崛起、手机市场的扩大，微软面临的压力也许不仅仅是来自GOOGLE单方面的，类似苹果、NOKIA等厂商有时候也是致命的对手。 <br /><br />比尔&middot;盖茨最后还提到一个核心观点，那就是近年来一直宣传的自然人性化界面技术，该技术可以使用户与电脑的交流变得接近于人与人之间的交流。据说微软所展示的下一代操作系统Windows 7就采用了这种触摸界面技术,而且比尔&middot;盖茨非常看好支持手写输入和语音识别技术的小型PC。这些都属于智能化的技术发展领域，在这个领域最顶级的技术就是机器人技术。随着互联网的日益普及，网络机器人作为一种具备高度人工智能的信息互动平台，其技术也在快速发展，同时应用领域也在不断拓展，智能网络机器人将成为互联网行业中最值得关注的领域。 <br /><br />例如，MSN中国自2006年开始主办Windows Live Messenger 机器人大赛，吸引了众多个人与企业参赛者的参与，并产生了大量优秀的智能网络机器人作品。如<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>牛牛机器人<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>、<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>叽歪小弟<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>、<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>化工精灵<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>、<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>小明百事通达人<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>等等。最有名气的当属<font face="Times" size="3">&ldquo;</font>小i机器人<font face="Times" size="3">&rdquo;</font>，小i机器人在与人工智能、自然语言等技术领域目前已跻身世界领先地位，并成为微软全球战略合作伙伴。 <br /><br />退休之后，比尔&middot;盖茨仍将保留微软董事会主席的职务，并拥有自己的办公室，虽然80%的精力将用于比尔和梅琳达&middot;盖茨基金会的慈善工作当中，但他承诺在一周七天里，他将有两到三天呆在微软办公室里，他说：&ldquo;我会参与搜索和内部研发。我们将打造出全球最好的搜索引擎。&rdquo; 显然，GOOGLE在搜索方面的优势已经让即使退休的比尔&middot;盖茨都难以舍弃的&ldquo;心病&rdquo;，再加上微软收购雅虎案的无结果结局，比尔&middot;盖茨是发誓要打造出自己的&ldquo;搜索之王&rdquo;。我想，以微软每年60亿的科研预算，没有不成功的项目，除非领导者决策有大失误。 <br /><br />比尔&middot;盖茨将要退休了，那他在微软同事的心目中是一个什么形象呢？这个当属与他一起共同执掌了微软28年之久的CEO鲍尔默最有话语权了。&ldquo;他是一个比较内向的小伙子，不太爱说话，但身上充满了活力，尤其是一到晚上就活跃起来。当时的情况是，经常在我早上醒来时，他才准备睡觉。&rdquo; 鲍尔默在最近接受《华尔街日报》采访时，如此形容比尔&middot;盖茨。鲍尔默说的对，也许只有活力才是成功的最关键因素，这是比尔&middot;盖茨留给大家最好的礼物！(国际航空报 林明军)]]>
